History

Kingdom Kids Pre-Schoool began in 1989 with just under 50 children infant through 4 years old.  Throughout the years it expanded into a thriving Pre-School.  As the expansion of the program increased, Memorial Christian Academy was established, offering K4 through 8th grade.

MCA attained official status in 1998.  MCA has national recognition and full accreditation through the National Private School Association Group (N.P.S.A.G.), and is a member of Association of Christian Schools International (A.C.S.I.)

Our Mission

Memorial Christian Academy is dedicated to providing spiritual and academic training that will enable each student to pursue God's purpose for his or her life.  It is founded under the providence of God, and with the conviction that there is an need for a school in this community which will train the minds, develop moral character and enrich the spiritual lives of all those who may come within its realm of influence. At Memorial Christian Academy, the student's education will be greatly enhanced by the strength of the parent-teacher partnership.

Diversity

MCA is a non-denominational Christian school with a student body of diverse backgrounds representing many different denominations and independent churches in the Houston area.

Our students are encouraged to accept and love one another as Christ does.

Statement of Non-Discrimination

Memorial Christian Academy admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin, to all rights, privileges and programs available within the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in the administration of its educational policies, admission policies and other school-administered policies.

Statement of Faith

 We believe:

·         That the Bible is Gods' Word in the original manuscripts and the only authority for doctrine and practice.

·         In the Trinity – Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

·         That salvation is a free gift, paid for by the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ for all who trust Him as their Savior.

·         In the literal resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and in the same resurrection to eternal life for all who are saved, while the unsaved will spend eternity in hell.

·         In the literal return of Jesus Christ.
