Embrace the Vision of Excellence!
K4 through 6th Grade
Memorial Christian Academy provides a loving Christian learning environment for our students. Teaching strong moral values as well as developing character training is something that we strive to achieve daily. Our curriculum promotes such structure and stability. Pledges, songs, memory verses, prayers and Bible stories are an intergral part of our daily activities.
MCA embraces an academically structured curriculum that is accelerated and enriched. We offer grades K4 through 8th grade. MCA uses the A Beka curriculum. A Beka Book is dedicated to providing quality education from a Christian perspective. It is unashamedly Christian and traditional in approach to education. Their skilled researchers and writers do not paraphrase progressive education textbooks and add Biblical principles; they do primary research in every subject and look at the subject from God's point of view.
K4 and Kindergarten
Our full-day program offers an academically structured curriculum with daily lesson plans which include a strong phonics program designed to teach basic fundamentals of reading, language, and mathematics. Skill Development strengthens listening skills, fine motor development, hand-eye coordination, and visual perception. Appropriate classroom habits and behaviors produce an orderly classroom conducive to effective learning and instruction. K4 and Kindegarten have an afternoon nap before dismissal.
1st - 6th grades
This structured curriculum encourages students to enhance skills they have learned and continue the advanced study of language arts, grammar, reading, science, geography, mathematics, music, history, foreign language and computer skills. Students participate in the annual spelling bee and science fair.
